Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Full-Time Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll work within a dynamic and supportive educational setting, serving elementary, middle, or high school students with diverse learning needs. This contract opportunity features roles with a caseload tailored to your interest and expertise: elementary and high school positions each have approximately 15-20 students, while a center-based middle school role consists of a small, focused caseload of four.

Utilize your experience to provide mainly push-in services, collaborating closely with general education teachers and related service providers to help every student thrive. Your dedication and adaptability will make a daily difference while enhancing your professional skills surrounded by passionate educators.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification or eligibility to obtain in Colorado
• Proven experience or training in delivering special education services
• Comfortable with push-in and inclusive learning models
• Skilled in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction in both classroom and small group settings
• Develop and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) individualized to student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
• Track student progress, collect data, and communicate updates regularly
• Adjust teaching strategies and interventions based on student growth and feedback
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide support initiatives
