Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at supporting their recovery.

• Implement effective therapeutic interventions for individual therapy, employing a variety of methods that promote personal growth while fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

• Regularly set and review collaborative therapeutic goals with clients, monitoring their progress towards achieving these objectives through ongoing discussions and adjustments as needed.

• Deliver teletherapy sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients who might have transportation and mobility challenges.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical standards, safeguarding client privacy and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities, such as attending workshops and training seminars, to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about evolving trends in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds seeking help with a range of mental health issues. Your expertise will be particularly beneficial to clients grappling with addiction, anxiety disorders, trauma, and depression. We are especially interested in therapists who demonstrate a cultural competence and can provide sensitive support to clients of color and those identifying within the LGBTQIA community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of full-time counseling experience, ideally in an outpatient setting.

• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including couples, children, teens, and families.

Preferred Experience\n

While specific experience with couples counseling, child and adolescent therapy, or trauma-informed care is valuable, candidates who have developed specific expertise in serving underrepresented communities will greatly enhance our therapeutic offerings at Compassionate Health Center.
