Accounts Receivable Specialist
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This is a long-term temporary position with strong potential for permanent hire for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is committed to building a long-term career and can make an immediate impact on our Accounts Receivable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable functions
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
- Conduct collection calls and follow up on past-due accounts
- Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Maintain accurate customer account records
- Prepare aging reports and provide updates on collection efforts
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve account issues
- Assist with AR-related reporting and documentation
- Support transition efforts as the company implements NetSuite ERP
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of dedicated Accounts Receivable experience required
- Strong collections background with confidence making collection calls
- Experience managing high-volume customer accounts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred
- Must be reliable, dependable, and interested in a long-term opportunity
