Work Environment\nOur remote work setting allows for flexibility, enabling our therapists to balance their professional and personal lives while reaching out to patients. Our outpatient office is designed to be an inviting space for therapy sessions, but remote work enables us to meet the needs of clients in the most convenient way possible. The expected work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be required based on patient needs and circumstances.
Key Responsibilities\nAs a Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique needs. \n
- Developing personalized treatment plans informed by clinical best practices and patient feedback. \n
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, to support individual, couple, and family therapy sessions. \n
- Facilitating psychoeducational and support groups to foster a sense of community among patients dealing with similar challenges. \n
- Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to provide integrated patient care. \n
- Providing crisis intervention services to support patients in urgent need and ensuring their safety. \n
- Educating patients about mental health conditions and available community resources to enhance their understanding and recovery journey. \n
- Maintaining thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems. \n
- Actively participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities. \n
- Staying up-to-date with current research and advancements in the mental health field to continuously improve therapeutic practice. \n
Our practice is dedicated to serving a wide range of clients, including individuals struggling with various mental health challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance use issues. We take pride in our inclusive approach, aiming to accommodate the needs of a diverse population dealing with specific social, cultural, and behavioral health challenges.
Qualifications\nThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Washington. \n
- Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches. \n
- Proven ability to effectively conduct comprehensive assessments and develop actionable treatment plans. \n
- Prior experience providing individual and group therapy to a range of populations. \n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for strong rapport with patients and colleagues. \n
- Commitment to professional boundaries, ethical standards, and sound judgment. \n
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and related computer applications. \n
- A collaborative spirit that thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment. \n
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting. Experience with crisis intervention and familiarity with culturally competent practices is highly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits\nThe salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
\n- \n
- Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including mental health services. \n
- A retirement savings plan with employer contributions. \n
- Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay to ensure a healthy work-life balance. \n
- Professional liability insurance coverage for peace of mind. \n
- Continuing education opportunities and support to facilitate ongoing professional growth. \n
- Clear pathways for advancement within our practice, allowing you to build a meaningful career. \n
- A collaborative and supportive work environment where your contributions are valued. \n
At Touch of Peace Counseling Services, we believe in investing in our team’s professional development. You will have access to regular training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs that not only enhance your clinical skills but position you for career advancement within the organization.
