What You'll Do

• Manage patient flow throughout the clinic, supporting providers with clinical and clerical tasks
• Prepare patients for examinations, including rooming, vital signs, and documenting history
• Assist with immunizations, injections, medication administration, and laboratory specimen collection
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare staff, including phone support, prescription refills, and appointment scheduling
• Support administrative functions such as supply stocking, check-in duties, and prior authorization assistance
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care
• Follow the scope of practice outlined by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and Medical Practice for delegated tasks

What You Need

• Active Medical Assistant certification or licensure in Minnesota
• Prior clinical experience, ideally in a busy outpatient or clinic setting
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and patient populations
• Preferred: experience with immunizations, lab procedures, and administrative duties
