Located in Pahrump, Nevada, this role allows for a predominantly remote work setting, optimized for fostering work-life balance without sacrificing clinical excellence. The majority of your sessions will take place via telemedicine, with the option for in-person appointments at our community health clinic. This flexibility ensures that you can manage your schedule according to your preferences and client needs, all while providing outpatient care without the demands of hospital calls or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs through thorough assessments and evaluations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions encompassed in group, family, couples, and individual formats to encourage mental wellness.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to address the diverse challenges faced by your clients.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and integrated care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards to safeguard client confidentiality.

• Engage in continuous professional development and workshops to stay informed of the latest advancements and best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with both adult and child/adolescent populations, equipping you with the opportunity to make a significant impact across various age groups. Our clients come from a wide range of backgrounds, with mental health issues that require tailored therapeutic approaches. Your counseling expertise will be pivotal in addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics, ultimately guiding them toward recovery and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Must be fully licensed and credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Nevada, with an unrestricted license.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within clinical settings, is necessary to ensure readiness for this position.
