As a remote telehealth specialist, you will have the flexibility to conduct your sessions online using advanced telehealth platforms. You will have access to a state-of-the-art electronic health record system, such as AVATAR, which streamlines documentation and communication with your peers. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations, identifying client needs and concerns.

• Formulate and document individualized treatment plans that outline specific therapy goals and intervention strategies over the duration of care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes engagement and healing.
\n
• Monitor and assess clients' progress towards their treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary based on feedback and clinical observations.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, case managers, and other counselors, to coordinate comprehensive client care.

• Provide support and guidance to family members or primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to assist their loved ones in managing mental health challenges effectively.

• Manage referrals to specialized services or resources as indicated, ensuring that clients receive well-rounded care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse range of clients, including adults suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Your approach will encompass individual therapy tailored to specific needs, as well as group sessions that foster community and shared experiences among participants. Understanding both the emotional and underlying physical health conditions of your clients will allow you to offer a comprehensive support strategy that promotes holistic wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.
\n
• A passing score in the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with a strong understanding of assessment and intervention methodologies.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems, with specific experience in AVATAR highly preferred.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is a plus.
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside exceptional interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
