Desired Skills and Background:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Prior experience providing speech and language services in educational settings preferred
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and therapy planning abilities
• Knowledge of IEP processes and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals
• Provide direct speech and language intervention to support academic and social success
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding therapy progress
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility reviews, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt therapy techniques and materials to accommodate diverse learners
