Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, including a detailed review of medical history and necessary physical assessments, documenting findings clearly.
• Develop, explain, and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate patient and family input, actively involving them in goal-setting processes.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs, while remaining adaptable to changes in their condition and the healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care, ensuring comprehensive treatment and support throughout the recovery process.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately, maintaining timely records that reflect the continuum of care from initial evaluation to discharge.
• Manage your schedule effectively to meet productivity expectations, prioritizing patient care while being punctual for all appointments and meetings.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by pursuing continuing education opportunities and serving as a mentor to less experienced colleagues or interns.
• Actively participate in the promotion of our services within the community and assist in the identification of barriers to patient access.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Upstream Life Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or undergoing rehabilitation for sports injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; preference will be given to candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse caseloads and maintain effective patient relationships.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Experience with specific population groups or injury types may also be advantageous.
• Prior familiarity with electronic medical record systems and rehabilitation software is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
