Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to help clients manage stress and promote relaxation.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' specific stressors, challenges, and goals, allowing for personalized treatment plans.

• Guide individual and group sessions focused on mindfulness exercises, meditation techniques, and breathing practices to foster self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging workshops that teach effective stress management and resilience-building strategies to clients.

• Incorporate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions, addressing the unique mental health concerns of each client for enhanced therapeutic outcomes.

• Document client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans meticulously to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve connecting with diverse individuals ranging from adolescents to adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. Many of our clients seek support for anxiety, depression, stress management, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Experience or training in mindfulness approaches is preferred but not mandatory.
