Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experienced in working with middle school students, preferably in ELA or related subjects
- Knowledge of IEP implementation, data-driven instruction, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and classroom management abilities
- A passion for fostering inclusive, engaging learning spaces
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction in 7th grade English Language Arts to students with varied learning needs
- Develop, adapt, and deliver IEP-aligned lesson plans tailored to each student's goals
- Maintain regular progress reports and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff for student success
- Create a positive, welcoming classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth
- Foster strong family partnerships through ongoing communication
