Director of Sales - Americas

Lead a team of Account Managers to drive profitable revenue growth and achieve monthly goals Use data analytics to build account plans focused on growth and execution across vertical markets Maximize customer value and drive margin growth Partner with Sales leadership and Account Managers to develop customer and channel-partner offerings and close high-profile deals Improve sales efficiency and sales training for Account Managers Champion and support the Global Sales Model Ensure sales operations processes and global best practices are communicated and followed Establish meetings, drive attendance, and ensure committed outcomes are tracked and executed Facilitate and lead sales forecasting to increase new business, as-sold margin, and forecast accuracy Provide analysis and reporting for order intake, gross margin, pipeline, and cost information Identify, prioritize, and communicate areas for improvement to sales leadership Lead growth and productivity projects and initiatives throughout the sales organization Serve as an internal Sales ambassador to Finance, Legal, Marketing, Technology, Quality, and IT stakeholders Drive new customer expansion in untouched or under-performing vertical markets Support internal and external sales events, including annual sales meetings, managers' workshops, and training events Support the sales team in achieving annual Order Intake and Gross Margin objectives Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline Master's degree preferred 10+ years of successful experience in complex solution sales 5+ years of experience in management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong business acumen Strong analytical/quantitative abilities, problem solving and presentation skills Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and group processes Ability to establish and foster relationships between various internal/external customers Capable of working in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities Minimum two years' experience providing analysis for large sales/financial datasets to make meaningful conclusion Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership in managing Account Managers to drive revenue growth and improve sales efficiency.
