NextGen Hospitality Solutions is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef to join our upscale restaurant team in Teton County. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-quality dining environment dedicated to exceptional culinary experiences.

As a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in managing kitchen operations, mentoring kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will collaborate closely with the head chef and other team members to deliver an outstanding culinary experience that aligns with our restaurant's vision and values. Join us in creating memorable dining moments for our guests while receiving a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering professional development
  • Develop and implement menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and trends
  • Monitor food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations
  • Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies and ingredients
  • Collaborate with the head chef on special events and catering menus
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control for kitchen operations
  • Ensure consistent quality in food preparation and presentation

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a kitchen management role
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in kitchen management software and tools
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and guests
  • Relevant culinary degree or certification is preferred
