Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health status through one-on-one sessions, utilizing standardized assessment tools and techniques.

• Provide continuous therapeutic support through regular meetings, helping clients engage with coping skills and strategies to manage their mental health issues effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients facing a range of mental health challenges including but not limited to substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and eating disorders. You will work diligently to build rapport and trust, facilitating a safe space for clients to express their feelings and work through their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or therapeutic settings.

• A robust understanding of common mental health disorders and the ability to apply evidence-based treatment approaches effectively.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and an ability to navigate high-stakes situations with composure and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits\n
