Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments using validated tools to gauge the needs of children and families, establishing a basis for treatment plans.

• Create individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, adapting approaches as needed to fit diverse client needs.

• Lead psychoeducational support groups focused on issues such as anxiety, depression, and coping strategies, facilitating a safe space for participants to share and learn.

• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's well-being.

• Respond effectively to mental health emergencies by offering crisis intervention and supportive counseling.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes in compliance with ethical standards and organizational protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must hold a current and valid license, such as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist, recognized in the state of California.

• Demonstrated capability to conduct mental health assessments and craft effective, patient-centered treatment plans.
