Role Overview: The Sales Development Representative plays a key role in helpingInvoiceCloudgrow. In this role,you’llprospect, qualify, and createnew salesopportunities by connecting with potential customers and buildingpipelinefor the Sales team. Reporting to the SDR Manager,you’lluse a mix of inbound and outbound outreach, account‑based strategies, and consistent follow‑up to start meaningful conversations. *** This role is onsite in our Seaport Boston, MA office 4x per week*** As the first point of contact,you’llhelp shape how prospects experienceInvoiceCloud—learninghow to communicate value, build interest, and position our platform as a trusted solution for payments and digital transformation. Builds rapport quickly, navigates gatekeepers effectively, and keeps conversations focused on customer needs. Results Driven Generates pipeline through consistent inbound and outbound prospecting, including cold calling and outbound campaigns. Executes account-based outreach strategies in partnership with Sales and Marketing. Maintains a healthy pipeline through persistent follow-up and discovery. Meets or exceeds weekly and monthlyactivityand meeting goals. Tracks andreviewsactivity and performance metrics to continuously improve results. TakesOwnership Owns daily prospecting activity, follow‑up, and opportunity tracking with discipline and accountability. Keeps Salesforce updated withaccurateactivity and progress to ensure strong handoff and follow‑through. Partners closely with Account Executives to seamlessly transition qualified opportunities. Applies coaching and feedback quickly to improve skills, messaging, and effectiveness Requirements Minimum 6 months of professional experience in sales, business development, or a customer‑facing role Hands‑on experience or strong interest in cold calling and outbound prospecting Comfort engaging prospects through phone, email, and LinkedIn at high volume Ability to understand basic customer challenges and explain howInvoiceCloudcan help Experience working toward goals, quotas, or performance targets Strong time management and organizational skills Ability tooperatein a fast‑paced, high‑growth SaaS environment Coachable, motivated, and eager to build a career in software sales Benefits We offer a competitive benefits program including: Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance 401(k) plan with company match Flexible Time Off (FTO), wellbeing days, paid holidays, and summer Fridays Mental health resources Paid parental leave & Backup Care Tuition reimbursement Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Base salary is onecomponentof total compensation.
