RN MDS Coordinator Qualifications Active, unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an RN MDS Coordinator in a long-term care setting Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred Strong understanding of MDS regulations, reimbursement systems, and care planning processes Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills RN MDS Coordinator Responsibilities Conduct and coordinate Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments in accordance with federal and state regulations Serve as the facility's RN MDS Coordinator, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all MDS submissions Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive resident assessments Support individualized care planning and participate in care plan meetings Monitor resident progress and update assessments to reflect changes in condition Ensure regulatory compliance and remain current on MDS and reimbursement updates Work closely with nursing and administrative teams to support accurate billing and reimbursement processes Provide education and guidance to staff regarding documentation requirements and assessment procedures Assist in maintaining quality measures and improving clinical outcomes RN MDS Coordinator Schedule & Benefits Full-Time Position Some on-call responsibilities required Competitive salary Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Career advancement and leadership development opportunities Supportive team environment Complete Care is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
