Security Officer Entry Control Specialist in Seattle, WA is a full‑time position that serves and safeguards clients in a range of industries such as aero/defense and more. In this role, you will stay visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while supporting a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.87 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security‑related issues. Communicate with employees, visitors, contractors, and site contacts regarding screening procedures, badge requirements, and other access‑related expectations. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
