What You’ll Do The Occupational Therapist is a key part of our Care Center team, helping residents maximize independence and quality of life through personalized therapy plans. In our community-centered residence (built in 2020), you’ll work with no more than 54 residents in a supportive, above-average-rated facility that takes pride in providing exceptional care. Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans to help residents improve or maintain daily living skills. Teach adaptive techniques and introduce equipment that supports participation in activities. Monitor and document resident progress, adjusting treatment as needed. Provide therapy following evidence-based, traditional practices in line with Rehabilitation Services standards. Deliver care in a long-term care setting, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team. What Makes This Role Unique Small, community-focused environment (54 residents max). Who We’re Looking For Must have obtained a bachelors , masters , or doctorate degree in occupational therapy at a college or university which has been accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association, or be scheduled for the board examination. Must have current license with State of CO. CurrentBLS (CPR) certification upon initial hire and must maintain through GRHD employment. Practical experience obtained from previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy; working experience in a long term care setting preferred. Ability to maintain good working relationships both within the department and with the other departments.
