Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, evaluating functional mobility, strength, and overall physical condition to guide your therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement customized care plans that align with physicians' recommendations and address each patient's specific goals and needs.
• Provide direct, hands-on physical therapy interventions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to enhance patient recovery and functional independence.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on effective home therapy exercises and the proper use of therapeutic devices, ensuring adherence to the care plan outside of therapy sessions.
• Ensure that documentation meets regulatory standards and clearly reflects patients' progress and any modifications made to their treatment plans.
• Prioritize and manage your caseload effectively, coordinating with colleagues to optimize patient care and address varying needs in daily assignments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include a diverse patient population, ranging from children with developmental delays to adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, stroke, or chronic pain conditions. By providing patient-centered care, you'll aim to empower individuals in achieving their personal rehabilitation goals and enhancing their daily function.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of employment commencement.
• While experience is not mandatory, a commitment to ongoing professional development and patient care excellence is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health or a similar setting is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques and technologies is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
