Work Environment

This role offers a unique working environment by being onsite in our patients' homes, offering a personal touch to therapy that is vital in recovery and rehabilitation journeys. Working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will have the opportunity to assess and treat patients in their natural environment, which can significantly enhance their therapy outcomes. You will enjoy a manageable patient load of one patient per hour, allowing you the time and focus needed to deliver dedicated, quality care while maintaining a strong professional rapport with your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify individual needs and establish personalized treatment objectives.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques that focus on enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and independence.
• Manage your patient schedule to provide one-on-one care efficiently, allowing for thorough assessment and treatment during each appointment.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation including evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and billing records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic and rehabilitation cases, requiring you to utilize your knowledge of manual therapy techniques to effectively address patients' conditions. You will work with a diverse range of clients, from post-operative patients to those managing chronic pain and mobility issues. Your compassionate and patient-centric approach is key to building trust and ensuring the best possible outcomes for those you serve.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proven manual therapy skills and knowledge of contemporary rehabilitation techniques.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in providing outpatient orthopedic care.
• Strong background in client-centered care practices and experience with home health therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
