Our center spans an impressive 5,000 square feet and is specifically tailored to foster an environment conducive to healing and rehabilitation. We prioritize patient care, ensuring that our physical therapists and support staff work collaboratively to achieve optimal outcomes for our clientele.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our modern outpatient office with a supportive team that includes two other experienced physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our office fosters a collegial atmosphere where every team member contributes to enhancing patient outcomes. The work schedule is conveniently set from Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their specific needs and set treatment objectives.
• Schedule and manage a patient load of one individual per hour to provide focused and personalized therapy.
• Utilize effective therapeutic techniques to treat orthopedic conditions, maximizing patients' range of motion and physical function.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, utilizing various modalities and interventions.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs that promote long-term health, considering each patient's lifestyle and preferences.
• Keep patients motivated throughout their rehabilitation, encouraging adherence to therapy protocols for optimal recovery.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, regularly assess progress, and maintain clear communication with patients regarding their healing journey.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) software like WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals with private medical insurance, focusing on those suffering from various orthopedic injuries and conditions. You will work with a diverse population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals dealing with chronic pain. Your expertise will be crucial in enabling these patients to regain their mobility and live fulfilling, active lives.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a high level of clinical competency.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey with no records of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individual patient needs.
• Strong skills in designing and implementing personalized exercise regimens that complement rehabilitative efforts.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, especially WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting is highly preferred, enriching your capability to manage patient cases effectively.
• Demonstrated success in applying diverse therapeutic approaches to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Strong communication skills that enhance collaboration with team members and build rapport with patients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education.
