Accounts Payable Specialist

Foley Mansfield is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. If you are interested in growing as an accounts payable professional and working with a great team, we want to hear from you. This position will report to the Accounting Manager. Candidates must reside in MN.

The essential functions of this position include:

• Process invoices, expense reports, and record payments accurately and timely.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve invoice, payment, and vendor discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records and files.
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues and obtain required information.
• Follow established procedures and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field OR 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting or ERP system preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently.
