Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and establish individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Provide face-to-face therapy sessions through telehealth platforms for individuals, couples, and families, ensuring a high level of client engagement and support.

• Employ a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and solution-focused therapy, adapting these techniques to the specific needs of clients.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support as necessary, employing clinical judgment to assess client risk and safety during challenging situations.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that adheres to Tennessee state regulations and best practices in mental health documentation.

• Engage in case reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights and improve treatment strategies, ensuring comprehensive care for all clients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and remain informed about the latest therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will primarily serve a diverse clientele from various backgrounds, encompassing individuals, couples, and families dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, behavioral challenges, trauma, and life transitions. Our focus is on providing culturally competent care that recognizes and respects each client's unique life experiences and goals.

Qualifications\n

• An active LMFT licensure in Tennessee, free of any disciplinary actions.

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient or mental health setting is essential for success in this role.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapies tailored to the individual needs of clients.

• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, allowing for strong connections and supportive relationships with clients.

• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n
