Vice President, Fund Accounting | NYC | Alternative Credit

Mission Staffing is partnered with a rapidly growing next-generation alternative asset manager focused on providing structured financing solutions to innovative, high-growth businesses across credit, hybrid, and venture strategies. We are seeking a Vice President, Fund Accounting to join the New York team in a highly visible role supporting senior leadership and helping oversee core finance operations across the firm’s investment platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner directly with senior leadership across fund accounting, treasury, operations, and investor reporting
• Oversee monthly / quarterly reporting across multiple investment vehicles and coordinate with third-party administrators
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax providers, and external service partners
• Support capital activity including capital calls, distributions, liquidity planning, and lender reporting
• Drive process improvements, controls enhancements, and scalable reporting infrastructure
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Investor Relations, Legal, and Investment teams
• Mentor and help develop junior team members while helping build best-in-class finance infrastructure

Ideal Background:

• 6+ Years of fund accounting experience

• Experience with both open-end and closed-end fund structures required

• Credit fund exposure strongly preferred

• Experience within alternative asset management platforms (no straight public accounting profiles)
