Customer Support Specialist

Are you someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, staying organized, and keeping operations running smoothly? We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing company that is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for customers while coordinating orders, production schedules, and inventory to ensure an exceptional customer experience. This is a fast-paced role where you'll work closely with sales, production, operations, and quality teams to ensure customer expectations are met from order placement through delivery. What You’ll Do Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, providing timely, professional, and responsive service. Process customer orders received through email, phone, and electronic purchasing systems while ensuring accuracy. Coordinate with production and operations to monitor order status and help ensure on-time delivery. Communicate proactively with customers regarding order updates, changes, and any potential delays. Maintain customer pricing, purchase orders, product information, and account records within internal systems. Partner with sales and operations to forecast demand and help manage inventory levels. Review inventory and production needs to maximize efficiency while minimizing waste. Coordinate outside processing activities with vendors and internal teams as needed. Assist with resolving customer concerns, product issues, and quality-related matters while documenting resolutions. Collaborate across multiple departments to support continuous improvement and deliver an outstanding customer experience. What We’re Looking For Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred. 5+ years of customer service, inside sales, order management, manufacturing support, or related experience. Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
