Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, while incorporating pre-crisis and crisis plans alongside behavioral guidelines.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation to comply with regulatory standards and agency policies.
\n
• Employing evidence-based screening tools as advised by the clinical team to ensure the highest quality of care.
\n
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create, implement, and review positive behavior support plans.
\n
• Participating actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the standards of our organization.
\n
• Serving as a liaison to state agencies and community partners as required, facilitating seamless service access and support for clients.
\n
• Fostering open communication among team members, clients, and their families to promote contractual compliance and align with Mindful Perspective Moments Therapy’s mission.
\n
• Building relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to broaden our outreach and identify potential partnerships and funding opportunities.
\n
• Engaging in professional development by attending relevant conferences, workshops, and meetings that enhance your expertise.
\n
• Advocating for the agency's mission, values, and philosophy in all interactions.
\n
• Assisting the Clinic Director with additional tasks as delegated.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field.

• A valid and independent LMHC license to practice in Washington State or the willingness to obtain licensure through reimbursement of applicable fees if licensed in another state.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities, crisis intervention strategies, and familiarity with community support systems will be highly regarded. Previous work with diverse populations is also an advantage.
