This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing you to provide essential mental health support to our clients in a hospice care setting located in Sparks, Nevada. Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be performed remotely, giving our Licensed Clinical Social Workers the flexibility to support clients from the comfort of their own spaces. Our hospice center services a diverse client population, and as such, our work environment prioritizes collaboration, empathy, and continuous professional growth among our staff. Regular virtual team meetings ensure that LCSWs are well connected with their peers and receive ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized therapeutic services to patients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including grief, depression, and anxiety related to life-limiting illnesses.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams comprising medical professionals, nurses, and other specialists to create and implement personalized care plans that address both emotional and physical health needs.
\n
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, including psychosocial evaluations, and maintain accurate documentation of treatment progress and adjustments in accordance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families, assisting them in understanding and coping with the emotional implications of health care decisions and end-of-life issues.
\n
• Facilitate support groups and workshops to foster community and connection among patients and their families dealing with similar struggles.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals receiving hospice care. Patients may be dealing with terminal illnesses and significant health challenges that necessitate not only medical intervention but also emotional and psychological support. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping them and their families navigate complex feelings associated with end-of-life care, enabling meaningful conversations and decision-making.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program.

• Possession of an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Nevada.

• Demonstrated strong clinical judgment, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to engage with clients compassionately.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience providing therapeutic services, preferably within a healthcare or hospice setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
