Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and purchase order payments
• The AP Specialist will review, match, and code invoices accurately
• Prepare weekly check and ACH payment runs
• The AP Specialist will resolve vendor or departmental discrepancies
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end close
• The AP Specialist will support audit requests and help streamline AP processes

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of AP or general accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Experience with Workday Financials or a similar ERP preferred
• Previous higher education or nonprofit experience is a plus
