About the Role This position will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of company’s financial information. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will be highly involved in month-end close process, preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, assist in regulatory reporting and other ad-hoc accounting projects. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication, collaboration and high level of service to support business needs, including working with internal stakeholders daily to resolve critical customer related needs. The successful candidate will exhibit team oriented approach and behavior. Strong understanding of GAAP and audit principles Must have wholesale or distribution industry experience. Property Management experience is a plus but not required Demonstrate ability to work with and resolve customer issues independently and also together with customer service departments, sales teams and other departments as well Experience working with high volume daily transactions Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Power BI is a plus but not required QuickBooks and Sage X3 experience (plus). Experience in a fast paced, high growth environment a strong plus Must exhibit good communication and influencing skills to work across all levels of the organization, including the founders and senior leadership team Passionate, highly motivated individual who is a self-starter Impeccable personal and professional ethics and integrity Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting. Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions. Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
