Work Environment

The position is full-time, functioning from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, within our welcoming and collaborative rehabilitation center. As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will have the opportunity to engage with a highly supportive staff dedicated to fostering a positive and effective atmosphere for both patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patient mobility, strength, and functional abilities in alignment with established protocols and state regulations.
• Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on both short-term and long-term rehabilitation goals.
• Implement and administer physical therapy interventions in accordance with the treatment plan, adjusting strategies based on patient progress and feedback.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Continuously document patient progress, ensuring all records adhere to both facility standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with industry standards and best practices through continuous education, attending workshops, and reviewing relevant literature to enhance clinical skills.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our facility, contributing to an integrated care approach to patient rehabilitation.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the therapy areas, ensuring an optimal healing environment for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The therapist will be responsible for motivating and guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring that interventions are appropriately modified to align with each patient's physical capabilities and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including AED training.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working as a physical therapist, particularly with orthopedic patients.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced certifications in manual therapy or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Competence in specialized therapeutic techniques and equipment.
• Previous experience in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide an attractive benefits package that includes:
