Required Education To qualify to teach Exercise Science a minimum of a Master’s degree is required in the teaching discipline or a minimum of a Master’s degree with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in relevant coursework (completed by the anticipated date of appointment). Preferred Qualifications/Experience Teaching experience is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to teach Exercise Science class at the collegiate level. Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, related to students and facilitate student learning. Effective communication skills needed. Excellent organizational and teaching skills. Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology is required. Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations None specified. Pre‑Employment Requirements A criminal background check is required. Work Hours Position may require non‑standard hours (including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend and/or other campus locations). Salary $3075 for each 3 credit hour course taught.
