Required Education Must hold a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the discipline of geology. Required Experience None Specified. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Teaching experience is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to teach GEOLOGY courses at the collegiate level. Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods. Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning. Effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology. Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations None Specified. Pre-Employment Requirements A criminal background check is required. Work Hours Classes are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. Salary $3,825.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught.
