Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our clients’ financial clarity and compliance. Key Responsibilities

· Manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and consistency

· Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and maintain current financial records

· Process payroll and prepare related payroll tax filings

· Sales tax filings across jurisdictions

· Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and adjustments

· Generate financial statements and customized management reports

· Review and handling of intercompany transactions

· Organize and maintain financial documentation to support compliance and reporting

· Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency

· Identify and correct discrepancies proactively

Qualifications

· Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

· Experience managing complex or high-volume client accounts

· Familiarity with cleanup work and catch-up bookkeeping

· Proficiency with tools like Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office Suite

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Strong communication skills and professionalism

· Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently

· Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software

· Minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping experience; CPA firm experience strongly preferred
