Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing solution-focused methods and evidence-based practices to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs.

• Implement a diverse range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more, providing clients with tools to navigate their mental health challenges.

• Ensure the meticulous maintenance of confidential clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and organization standards to uphold the integrity of client information.

• Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary treatment team, comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and various mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic client care.

• Participate in regular peer consultation and case review meetings designed to enhance service quality and foster professional development.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health diagnoses, treatment pathways, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Stay informed of the latest trends, research, and best practices in the mental health field, integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic approach to enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with a varied client base consisting of individuals experiencing issues, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. Your work will not only focus on traditional therapeutic methods but also involve addressing co-occurring disorders within the context of detoxification treatment, providing holistic support as clients navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Proven ability to apply solution-focused therapeutic techniques in customizing treatment plans that address the unique challenges each client faces.
