Job Title: EHS Coordinator & Administrative Specialist

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive EHS Coordinator & Administrative Specialist to join the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is a blend of high-level regulatory support and general office administration. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining a safe, compliant workplace while gaining exposure to various departments in a globally recognized industrial organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Compliance Documentation: Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documents to ensure continuous regulatory alignment.
• Incident Tracking: Document all safety and environmental incidents, ensuring corrective actions are recorded and followed through to completion.
• Data Management: Perform timely data entry for Safety Risk Assessments and collaborate with plant supervision to conduct Toxic Risk Assessments based on chemical inventories.
• Occupational Health Coordination: Schedule employee appointments with occupational health vendors, including hearing tests, medical surveillance physicals, and workers' compensation visits.
• Training Oversight: Manage facility training gaps. Maintain the tracking database to record completed training and assist leadership in ensuring a skilled, compliant workforce.
• Operational Support: Provide administrative assistance including filing, recordkeeping, organizing technical information, and managing on-site inventory.
• Event Coordination: Assist the EHS team in the planning, setup, and execution of site safety events and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Associate degree in Business, EHS, or a related field (Current students in a degree program are encouraged to apply).
• Experience: 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across various departments and maintain professional relationships with external partners.
