Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments that evaluate patients’ mental health status, strengths, and specific needs, ensuring individualized care plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to provide effective individual and group therapy sessions.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurses, and other support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, addressing both mental and physical health needs.

• Educate and assist patients and their families in understanding diagnoses, treatment options, coping strategies, and prescribed medications.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that align with patient goals and preferences, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting as necessary.

• Advocate for patients by helping them navigate the complexities of the mental health system and ensuring their rights and needs are met.

• Organize and facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions, as well as participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support patients within a detoxification setting. This involves working with individuals transitioning from substance use towards recovery. The LCSW will engage with a diverse client population, each presenting unique challenges and strengths, thus requiring skilled and empathetic communication combined with clinical knowledge to effectively guide and support their journey toward mental health stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
