Senior Client Accounting CoordinatorLocation: New York, NY — Hybrid in the office Salary: $105,000 - $120,000Our client, a leading law firm in New York City, is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Billing Coordinator to join its team. This is a hybrid opportunity for a legal billing professional with strong experience managing complex billing portfolios, supporting attorneys and partners, and performing client account analysis within a law firm environment.Daily Duties:Manage complex billing and client accounting activities for assigned partners and practice areasPrepare, review, and process client bills and supporting documentationAnalyze outstanding balances and proactively identify billing and collection issuesPartner with attorneys and internal business services teams to resolve billing and client account inquiriesProvide client account analysis and accurate financial information to partners and attorneysCoordinate billing workflow and troubleshoot complex billing issuesMaintain accurate and up-to-date partner and client billing recordsTrain and mentor junior billing/client accounting team membersServe as a senior resource to the team and provide additional leadership support when neededAssist with process improvements and departmental initiativesWhat Our Client is Seeking:Bachelor's degree5+ years of legal billing experience, including client/account analysisPrior law firm experienceHands-on experience with Aderant, Elite, or 3EStrong Excel skillsExperience supporting attorneys and partners with complex billing mattersExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to exercise discretion and handle confidential informationAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
