Billing Coordinator

Description
We are a multiple-site, private practice dermatology group in need of a qualified billing coordinator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be a detailed, team-oriented billing specialist with full cycle medical billing knowledge. Must be able to solve billing queries and have a solid understanding/foundation in medical billing practices. Some of the daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing and posting EOB's
- Charge Entry
- Posting patient payments
- Payment and Charge Reconciliation
- Daily close out tasks
- Preparing Deposits
- Resolving billing inquiries
- Claim denials and appeals
- Handling patient inquiries
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
We offer competitive salary and benefit package. This is a full-time, IN OFFICE position with hours of Monday-Thursday from 8 am- 5 pm and Friday’s from 8 am – 4 pm. - Able to perform listed job duties
- Reliable transportation
- Prior demonstrated experience with revenue cycles in a medical practice
- Dermatology billing is a plus
- Ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus
