Customer Support & Order Management Associate (Entry Level)

Position Overview

Eastman is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Support & Order Management Associate to join our Performance Films team. This role is responsible for coordinating key activities that support sales, service, and distribution operations for our domestic customers.

This is a high-visibility position that plays a critical role during our busy season. Strong performers may have opportunities to transition into full-time roles within other areas of the organization after peak season.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of customer purchase orders, including order entry, processing, and invoicing
• Respond to customer requests, inquiries, and complaints in a timely, professional manner
• Analyze and manage inventory levels throughout the distribution network
• Collect, review, and enter customer forecast data into SAP
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Demand Planning, and Logistics teams to support customer needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and reporting data
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with third-party warehouse partners to track shipments and communicate delivery updates or delays
• Monitor and proactively communicate shipment statuses to customers
• Support team members and provide backup coverage when needed
• Work primarily via email communication, with limited phone interactions (queue-based support)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred)
• Strong customer service and customer support experience
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in sales support, customer service (including retail or restaurant), supply chain, or manufacturing environments
• Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce (preferred but not required; training provided)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
