Other duties may be assigned.Attaches slings to pipes or other parts to move with a forklift into positions or onto stands for painting.Cleans grease and dirt from product.Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color.Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose.Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat.Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush.Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.Removes rust from metal with powered wire wheel or wire brush.Perform weekly inventories on supplies and paint.Qualifications and RequirementsOne year certificate from college or technical school or related experience and training preferred1 year experience operating industrial paint equipment2-5 year's experience working in an manufacturing or industrial environmentMust be available to work a flexible schedule and overtimeAbility to read and interpret a tape measureMust be able to work as a teamAbility to pass a drug testDearing's benefits program includesMedical, Vision, and Dental insuranceLong-term disability insuranceShort Term DisabilityLife Insurance9 paid holidaysPaid Time Off401K retirement planCompetitive Salary
