Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions and functional capabilities, utilizing tools such as goniometers and dynamometers.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with patient goals, incorporating techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like electrotherapy and ultrasound.
• Implement hands-on therapy sessions designed to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical function, regularly tracking progress against established benchmarks.
• Educate patients and their families on appropriate home exercise programs, emphasizing the importance of injury prevention and lifestyle modifications to sustain recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously in accordance with regulatory standards and clinic protocols, making timely modifications to treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare practitioners to ensure continuity of care and maximize therapeutic outcomes for our patients.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices by participating in professional development courses and integrating new techniques into patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Active Life Physiotherapy, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals aiming to regain independence following surgeries or age-related conditions. Our objective is to tailor interventions that meet the unique needs of each patient, fostering a path to recovery and enhancing overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in physical therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits
