This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility while still maintaining an outpatient office facility in Augusta, Georgia where team collaboration and client consultations occur as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments of clients to determine their mental health status, concerns, and treatment needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that may include individual therapy, group therapy, and family consultations as required.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions to help clients navigate their mental health challenges, providing them with coping strategies and tools for recovery.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interactions in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients requiring additional medical services.

• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, employing strong assessment tools to de-escalate challenging situations and ensure client safety.

• Advocate for your clients, providing referrals and resources to help them access further support services as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass a diverse patient population, including individuals with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. A commitment to understanding and respecting cultural diversity will be key as you implement inclusion-focused therapy techniques to better serve clients from varying backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is mandatory.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or therapy is necessary.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and best practices in evidence-based therapy.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with clients and effectively collaborate with team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
