Sous Chef

Cherokee-Town-

Cherokee Town & Country Club is looking to hire a Full-Time Sous Chef at our Town Club in Buckhead to prepare food items that either appear on the daily menu or as a special pertaining to a specific station. You must carefully follow recipes and work hard to ensure the quality and consistency of the food. Time management and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once is a necessity. In this fast‑paced restaurant environment, you will work as part of a cohesive culinary team in pursuit of excellence. A 401(k) plan; matching up to 5%. Health, dental, and vision insurance. You’ll work alongside a talented leadership team, collaborating with the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine on menu development, special events, and elevated dining experiences in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. You’ll gain hands‑on experience with a variety of cooking techniques—from composed dishes and sauces to butchery and scratch preparation—while maintaining high standards for food safety and organization. We’re looking for team players who communicate well, stay organized, and take ownership of their station. Beyond the day‑to‑day, your voice matters. We encourage input, creativity, and new ideas to help elevate our culinary program. You’ll also build strong fundamentals in inventory awareness, cost control, and kitchen efficiency—all while working in a supportive environment that values professionalism, teamwork, and development. Skills and Aptitude Required Must be able to maintain focus on the tasks at hand while staying on your feet and moving about. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to read and follow recipes with precision. Education and Experience Required 5 years minimum of culinary experience. 2 years minimum of leadership experience. A culinary degree or CF equivalent is preferred. ServSafe certification is preferred, and/or a sound understanding of sanitation practices.
