Work Environment\n

This role is designed for remote work, allowing our therapists to connect with clients in a comfortable and safe setting. The telehealth work facility ensures that you are equipped with the latest digital tools and resources to facilitate effective therapy sessions. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be required depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine patients' needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Provide meaningful therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, offering a space for clients to share experiences and learn from one another while addressing prevalent mental health issues.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and additional healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services, remaining readily available to support clients during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health challenges, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources to aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to advance your skills and knowledge in mental health therapy.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and advancements in the field of mental health to continually improve the quality of care provided to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist, you will work with a diverse clientele comprising individuals from various backgrounds and age groups. Your role will involve tailoring approaches to fit each client’s cultural and contextual needs, ensuring that all individuals feel seen, heard, and supported in their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in California.

• Thorough understanding of mental health diagnostic criteria, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches, along with a commitment to ongoing education and self-improvement.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to cultivate trusting relationships with clients and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong judgment skills, ethics, and adherence to professional boundaries within therapeutic settings.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools to facilitate remote service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
