Competitive salary range of $300,000 – $350,000 annually, based on experience and certifications Stable, full-time position with predictable hours in a community hospital setting Located in scenic southeastern Vermont, offering a supportive environment and quality of life Quick Facts: Location: 17 Belmont Avenue, Brattleboro, VT 05301 Start Date: 05/29/2026 Shift: Days, flexible scheduling (specifics discussed upon application) Hours/week: Full-time (details TBD) Employment Type: Permanent, salaried position License/Certifications: Medical license in VT or eligibility to practice in VT required Experience: Prior hospitalist experience preferred, new graduates encouraged to apply Pay & Benefits: Pay package: Salary of $300,000 – $350,000 annually, DOE Additional Benefits: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, vision insurance Retirement plan with employer contributions Paid time off and holidays CME allowance and paid CME days Malpractice, life, and disability insurance Employee Assistance Program Relocation assistance available Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements What You’ll Do: Provide direct medical care to hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of acute and chronic conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists and primary care providers Coordinate care plans and ensure smooth patient transitions Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests Respond to emergencies, including codes and rapid response situations Manage ventilators for critical patients Document all patient interactions thoroughly in the EMR Participate in hospital committees, quality initiatives, and team meetings Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment plans Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations What You Need: MD or DO degree, board-certified or board-eligible in hospital medicine Valid medical license for Vermont or eligible for license in VT At least 2 years of hospitalist experience preferred, but new grads encouraged Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment About the Assignment: Join a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional, compassionate care in a supportive community setting.
