Workday Analyst

Workday Integration Analyst US/Remote Job Summary The Workday Integration Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining integrations between Workday and internal/external systems. This role requires hands-on expertise with Workday integration tools, strong analytical ability, and a deep understanding of HR, Finance, or HCM business processes. The analyst works closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical partners to ensure seamless data flow and system performance. Duties & Responsibilities Integration Development & Management • Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PICOF/PECOS, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST). • Support inbound and outbound integrations for HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Time Tracking, and other Workday modules.

• Develop custom reports (Advanced, Matrix, BIRT) for use within integrations.
• Monitor daily integration runs, troubleshoot issues, and resolve integration failures or

data discrepancies. • Implement integration enhancements based on business needs and Workday’s bi- annual releases. Technical Analysis & Solution Design • Analyze integration requirements and translate functional needs into scalable technical solutions. • Participate in system design sessions, gap analysis, and architecture discussions with business and IT teams. • Ensure integration designs follow Workday and enterprise security, architecture, and performance standards. Testing & Deployment • Develop test plans and coordinate unit, regression, and end-to-end testing for integration deliveries. • Document integration specifications, technical designs, test cases, and support guides. • Support deployment activities across Sandbox, Preview, and Production tenants. 1 Support & Maintenance • Troubleshoot integration issues related to Workday business processes, security, or web services.

• Partner with Workday support and third-party vendors as needed.
• Manage change requests and maintain version control for integration components.

Requirements & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. • Hands-on experience with Workday Integration tools (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors). • Strong understanding of Workday HCM, HR processes, or Payroll/Benefits systems (based on employer’s domain). • Proficiency with XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and file formats

(CSV, JSON).

• Experience creating and optimizing Workday custom reports.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple integrations and projects simultaneously.

Evaluation Criteria

• Workday Integration certification(s).
• Experience with BIRT reporting, Workday Extend, or middleware tools (MuleSoft,

Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.).

• Knowledge of SFTP, security tokens, encryption standards (PGP/GPG).
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
