What You ll Do:

• Provide onsite OB/GYN on-call coverage at a hospital-based setting
• Manage routine deliveries including vaginal and low-forceps deliveries
• Perform C-sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, and emergent procedures
• Decide on and execute VBACs and repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations
• Collaborate with midwives who will handle their own call and deliveries
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR system
• Participate in emergency procedures and patient management as needed
• Provide care for adult patient populations in inpatient settings

What You Need:

• Active medical license in Kentucky or eligible for licensure
• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Minimum 2+ years of OB/GYN experience preferred
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to handle various obstetric cases
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

About the Assignment:
You will provide critical OB/GYN services at a hospital with a Level II nursery, handling a low volume of C-section patients with approximately 700-800 deliveries annually. The facility supports onsite labs, ultrasound, and hospital labor/delivery equipment. Midwives will manage their own patient call and deliveries, and your role will focus on providing on-call support for high-acuity obstetric care.
