About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission of supporting vulnerable children and ensuring their access to health, safety, and quality education. The successful candidate will be a senior operational and strategic leader, responsible for professionalizing and strengthening the organization's internal infrastructure, driving US-based fundraising, and managing the execution of complex international programs. This role demands a mission-driven individual with a proven track record in the nonprofit sector, particularly in fundraising, and a deep understanding of US philanthropic and international development landscapes. The Executive Director will work closely with the Managing Director and CEO to translate the strategic plan into actionable steps, establish robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and maintain a high-performance team culture. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include organizational leadership and strategy, team management, fundraising and philanthropy, US compliance and governance, and program and project management. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years' of experience in a senior leadership role, a strong background in fundraising, and the ability to manage large-scale international programs. They must be detail-oriented, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The role also requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work with an international team, and a commitment to the values of solidarity, activism, and child rights. Extensive travel, both domestically and internationally, is expected.
