Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote working arrangement while you support clients in our Detox Center. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, facilitating a balanced work-life dynamic. You will be a pivotal member of a multidisciplinary team that emphasizes collaborative care and shared decision-making to enhance client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a key liaison between clients, families, and outpatient providers to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.

• Engage with insurance companies to navigate pre-certification processes and convince utilization management for coverage of necessary services.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive discharge and aftercare plans tailored to client needs.
\n
• Provide therapeutic meal support, helping clients cultivate a healthy relationship with food through guided interactions and modeling appropriate behavior.

• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care that respects each client’s individual circumstances and cultural context.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele you will serve includes individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders. This role emphasizes culturally competent care and the importance of understanding each client’s unique background when developing treatment plans. You will work closely with clients to navigate their recovery journey, addressing both psychological and social factors impacting their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Pennsylvania is mandatory.
